     Taysia is a VERY active 5 year old who loves school.  She is reading at a 2^nd grade level.  She plays soccer and participates in gymnastics.  She just lost her first tooth and is looking forward to another visit from the tooth fairy.  She will be graduating kindergarten from The Apple Tree School in Houston, Texas on May 30^th at 6pm.  Taysia is the great-granddaughter of Florence Ragland, granddaughter of Florence Bowen "Little Florence" and daughter of Tyron and Latahsha Battee.

David is receiving his B.S. degree in the School of Education, Industrial Safety Inspection from the University of Central Oklahoma on May 9th in Edmond, OK.  David wants to eventally own his own business.  David is the grandson of the Bettie Martin and late Isaiah Martin and the son of Walter Martin and the late Ruby Berry Martin.

     Jennifer is receiving her Masters degree in Business and Administration from Harding University in Searcy, AR in December 2008.  She plans to become an accountant.  Jennifer is the granddaughter of John "Snook" and Elizabeth Berry; daughter of Sam and Renee Berry.

    Devin has graduated from kindergarten to 1st grade at McWillie Elementary in Jackson, MS.  Devin is a Montessori student and has received an accelerated Reader Award and Math Scholar Award.  Devin is the Grandson of Etta Mae Brown and the Late Leroy Brown and son of Leroy "June" and Dana Brown.

     Tyre' has received her Master's degree in Sports Administration at the University of Southern Mississippi on December 11, 2008 @ 10 a.m.  Tyre' is the granddaughter of  Etta Mae Brown and the late Leroy "Bilbo" Brown and daughter of Bruce and Annette Brown.

     Devale is graduating from Westfield High School in Houston, TX on May 29th at 7:30 pm.  He is a member of the National Society of High School Scholars.  Devale plans to attend Houston Community College for 2 years and transfer to a 4 year University where he will major in Music Production.  Devale is the great-grandson of Florence Ragland, grandson of Florence Bowen "Little Florence" and son of Darnisha Moody.

     Mark is graduating from High School this May in California.  Mark is the Grandson of the late Lucille Turner and son of Brenda Johnson.

Shatya is graduating from Lancaster High School in Lancaster, CA on May 29th.  Her future plans are the go to Hampton University to major in Business Administration/Accounting.  She plans to become a Financial Advisor.  Shatya is the Great-granddaughter of the late Lucille Turner, granddaughter of William "Jr. Man" Johnson and the daughter of Boshanda Johnson.

     Thomas has received a M.A. in Guidance Counseling from Alcorn State University in Lorman, MS on May 10th at 8:30 a.m.  Thomas is a Day Treatment Specialist at Region 4/Timber Hills in Corinth, MS.  Thomas is the son of Thomas and Rosie Walker.

     Victoria is moving on to 1st grade from kindergarten in May from Pearl Lower Elementary School in Pearl, MS.  Victoria loves Dora the Explorer and wants to be a Doctor or a Teacher when she grows up.  Victoria is the granddaughter of Etta Mae Brown and the late Leroy Brown and daughter of Doug and Gloria Brown-Walters.

Olivia will be graduating on Thursday, May 21, 2009. She will be attending middle school next year. She is a 5th grade Montessori student at McWillie Elementary in Jackson, MS.

Quincy has graduated from Head Start and is going to Kindergarten this fall in Chicago, IL!  Quincy is the grandson of Sam Brown and the son of Keith and Sparkel Brown.

Tramaine Isabell has graduated  from eighth grade to High School in Seattle, WA.  Tramaine is the grandson of Will H Brown and the son of Tramaine Isabell, Sr. and Aiyana Brown.

Britni Knott graduated on May 22nd from Chamblee Charter High School in Stone Mountain, GA.  She plans to attend Howard University this fall.  Britni is the granddaughter of Bettie Martin and the Late Isaiah Martin and the daughter of Les and Doris Knott.

Graduated from High School in Pearl, MS.  Ken is the grandson of the late Catherine Price and the son of JuQuanda Harmon.  

JaVonda Williams is graduating from High School in Sandusky, OH.  JaVonda is the granddaughter of the late Sallie Evans and the daughter of Lavon Ragland and Francis Williams.
